Your Questions About Yoga Alliance

Jenny asks…

Is yoga alliance UK, valid in Australia?

I’m planing on training to be a yoga teacher and want to know if my qualifications would be valid in Australia. I live at home so I’m saving money there, more to spend on courses.
If I could aford to live and studie in Oz that would answer my question.

Yoga Wear Guru answers:

If your plan is to immigrate to australia your occupation must be on the skilled occupation list to qualify

Sharon asks…

How would I go about opening a yoga studio in Youngstown, Ohio & what type of yoga would be popular?

I have been teaching for 3 years. I am certified through the yoga alliance to teach Hatha yoga. I am trying to find my niche here. I teach at a number of places & teach different classes to suit my students.

I’ve dreamed of opening my own place, but should I just have a certain style ie: ashtanga or restorative, or keep it diverse? This area is hard to judge. Also is there a place to go to help instructors open there own place? I do get e-mails for the teachers through yogajournal.com

What should my budget be?? Should I have a number of instructors, or just me & someone else? Should I have fitness classes to help with costs.

Any suggestions would be great.

Yoga Wear Guru answers:

Have as many different kinds as possible, that way you’ll find what people like. You can always weed out the kinds of yoga people aren’t into, once you get to know the population’s taste there.

Michael asks…

What are the chances of getting yoga instructor job in Switzerland?

I have the Yoga Alliance 200 certification from USA

Yoga Wear Guru answers:

You would have to have your degree recognized since in Europe which Switzerland is a part of American degrees are not recognized.

Also your nationality would play a role
In case you are a Swiss or an EU citizen and speak at least one of the national languages there are chances otherwise just forget about it.

Donna asks…

Yoga Teacher Training where?

I want to get my 200 certification from Yoga Alliance but I want an intensive 1 month course prefferably in Ashtanga. Any places from experience?

Yoga Wear Guru answers:

I’m not sure where you live but Yogaworks is where I did my teacher training. They have one of the best programs I’ve ever heard of. They offer 200 and 500 hours certifications as well as ongoing workshops, etc. Go to yogaworks.com to check it out.
They have many different teachers with different backgrounds that teach the trainings but I found that a large amount of them are Ashtangi’s.

Hope this helps!

Mary asks…

How to tell my parents that I’m…?

Okay, so here’s my situation:
I’m 19, a high school graduate with honors, starting my second semester of college…to start off with. Aside from all of that–and here’s where the problems begin–I am pregnant, engaged to someone my parents don’t necessarily like, I don’t want to go to college, never have, and probably won’t finish. I want to be a yoga instructor and go to a Yoga Alliance official school instead of college, and just be a mommy (so my pregnancy, as unplanned as it is, is obviously a wonderful thing).

Now a little bit more on my parents: my mom believes in being a “lady” and having courting etiquette appropriate for the Victorian age, is almost one of those super-feminists who prefer to bring the bread to the table, and dad goes out of his way from China to Chile to please her (he goes to school full-time for his Master’s). My mom’s last few jobs have been stressful on her and she’s always uptight, more than how she was when I was young, if at all. She probably doesn’t get this, but I understand her stress and try to dodge it constantly.

My biggest problems are telling them a) that I’m getting married sooner than they think, b) I’m pregnant, and c) I want them to be happy because I’m happy and couldn’t be happier despite the fact that I can’t stand college, don’t want to make a lot of money, and just want to be a happy, yoga-teaching mommy.

So thoughts? I love my life, how it’s turned out, the man I’m going to marry, and I still love my parents very much and don’t resent them at all. I just want to stop disappointing them and have them accept me as much as possible to the point that they can at least speak to me without talking about how I’ve failed to take their advice on life and be “safe”. I know they want what’s best for me, I GET that. I take risks and do things out of order, but I’m smart, healthy, and a good person. I think I deserve some acceptance.

Yoga Wear Guru answers:

You are old enough to run your own life. That being said, you are in for a (potentially) rough conversation, but take it from a mother who has had this very conversation with more than one of her children…as soon as your parents get over the shock, they will open their arms to you. Why? The grandchild. Once they get used to the thought of YOU making your own decisions in life, they will focus on the baby (I think its instinct). I fought it at first too…but the birth of my first grandchild was one of the best things that has ever happened to me. Not everyone is destined for college, that is not a sin. Since you are happy about the baby, what can they say? Even if they explode initially (allow them to do that without judgement), they will calm down, I promise. Just don’t make it a battle. Gently tell them…….this is the way it is and I want you to be a part of my life……deal with it.

      Maria asks…

A good workout routine for losing weight?

I’ve decided to get my butt in gear and I want to lose some weight – and a lot of it. I’m sick of being overweight and I want to do something about it. However, I’m too self conscious to go to the gym right now, so I’m limited to doing a workout in my bedroom, or in the front room when my parents and siblings aren’t around. I walk the dog every other week, and I walk when I can to get to college. I can’t walk all the way as that would take 4/5 hours.

I was wondering if anyone could give me a workout routine to help me lose weight (it will be part of a balanced diet too.) I can’t do a workout DVD until my parents/siblings aren’t around due to me not having a TV in my room. Thanks in advance for any help.

      Yoga Wear Guru answers:

You don’t need the gym. Main thing you need is water and protein(tune,fish,meat,etc.). If your looking for muscle you might wanna go buy some weights. But here was the plan i made for my mom and it worked!:
      monday: Walk fast 20 mins
      tuesday: Jog 15 mins
      wednesday :jog 20 mins
      thursday: jog/run 20 mins
      Friday:Walk fast 30-45 mins
saturday and sunday just walk and relax. Make sure you get enough water. And if you’re eating alot of fatty foods youll need to work harder till you regulate your diet.

      Paul asks…

Have I missed any important muscles in my workout?

      - I benchpress, do chest flys, and sometimes pushups for a chest workout.
      - I do 2 different tricep workouts, but I don’t know the names of them…
      - I do bicep curls for biceps, obviously.
      - I workout the forearm muscles with several different exercises.
      - Several different ab workouts. They work great, so I’m not missing these muscles.
      - I forgot about the deltoids for a while, but I’m working them now.
      - I often forget about the back muscles, so I’ll start working them too.
      - The only leg workout I get is biking, and it does help out a bit when i put my a lot of resistance on my exercise bike. I don’t have any gear/weights to train the leg muscles though. Looking into it though.

Note: I don’t do these all at once… but I try to even them out equally.

So, are there any important muscles or muscle groups that I am forgetting in my workout? I’m not an extreme bodybuilder or anything so nothing serious will probably happen, so it is just out of curiosity.

      Yoga Wear Guru answers:

Seems like you have everything together except for working out your butt. Squats with dumbbells or a bar will do just fine.

      thank you
sorry for the spelling mistakes im in a hurry to go somewhere

      Yoga Wear Guru answers:

~run up and down stairs at your local stadium for an hour a day. It will burn at first, but the burn will go away; just keep doing it. Upper body: do pull ups. Use a tree branch, monkey bars, or what ever you can. Just do pull ups. You dont need expensive equipment. When you are doing pull ups, try to pull your legs over your head and that will build your stomach muscles. Good luck~

      My Workout Dilemma [Male Teen]?

Hi, I’ve started to workout since I am overweight. I need help building a plan for me and I was wondering if the great people of Y!Answers could help.
      Stats:
      215 lbs.
      14 years old
      5′ 9″
Goal Weight: 176 lbs. Also tell me if this is to big a goal for my height and age.

Okay, so I do a P90 (beginner series) at night, every to every-other night along with the standard push-ups, sit-ups, variety of crunches, and dips. I really need to find a way to work cardio into my regimen.
I like to cycle, walk, and when I feel really good jog. I would like to do this in the morning before school and before the buses start to roll on through. The buses start at 6:30, 6:58, and 7:05(this is my bus time). So, I would like to do it before they get rolling through. I also am overweight and don’t really want to be seen by other kids. My street doesn’t really have a lot of people on it and it has street lights, but only every 6-7 houses. So that’s my dilemma.

Oh, I could do cardio in the afternoon but I just don’t know. I don’t really have any special needs for doing it in the afternoon; I just read that its good to do it in the morning so you burn calories the entire day. Also what type of attire would i need, gear, and any other things you might find useful.

      Yoga Wear Guru answers:

Ride after school when you have more time and don’t have to worry about getting all sweaty. You want to do an easy 10 min warm up and then start pedaling at 70-90 rpm’s in a gear that gets your heart rate to 85% of max and keep it there. You want to ride for a hour or more every day.

Would you wear a plain black bebe shirt, vs pink yoga pants and uggs?

so I have like nothing in my closet :p but you know those plain bebe shirts that say bebe in rhinestones across the chest ? would you wear one of those in black, and vs pink yoga pants that have rhinestones across the back, and uggs ? or is that too flashy ? :p

        Yoga Wear Guru answers:

This is what i would do:
Wear the skirt with a plain colored shirt and layer them on top of each other
        If it is cold:
Wear leggings (EVERY GIRL SHOULD HAVE A PAIR OF LEGGINGS) under neath the skirt
If you think uggs look nice with that than wear them
DO NOT WEAR THE YOGA PANTS AND UGSS TOO FLASSHY

        Sandra asks…

If i take an hour of Yoga.. Is it better to wear sweat pants and a sweater?

I sweat allot, and the more i sweat, the better. Will i lose weight faster if i do wear it? and can you give me more hints to lose weight faster?

        Yoga Wear Guru answers:

        I’d say no.

If you sweat a lot, you’ll only lose water weight. This dehydrates you and that makes you feel bad. The weight you lose is going to come right back when you drink. Sweating and drinking water at the same time can make you feel good in the long run, because you’re sweating out toxins without dehydrating yourself.

I would make sure that I felt good during class, so I’d want to come back for more yoga, so I’d start feeling healthier and happier and lose weight that way. If you’re going to punish yourself during whatever exercise you do, you’re not going to stick with it for long and that would have a negative effect on your weight loss.

        Richard asks…

Why would a girl wear spandex yoga pants in public if she’s not wanting to attract attention?

I am not complaining and welcome this recent trend of girls wearing skin tight nearly see through clothing in public. It has to be for attention and naturally guys will stare. Sometimes they will have this look on their face like she’s disgusted that everyone is staring. What’s the deal?

        P.S. keep wearing those pants.

        Yoga Wear Guru answers:

Of course it’s for attention. No matter what women say it’s for attention.

            Daniel asks…

Aren’t women supposed to be subservient to men according to the bible?

Do Christians “Pick and Choose” what they like from the bible?
            Just a few bible quotes..
Ephesians 5:22 “Wives, submit to your own husbands, as to the Lord. 23 For the husband is the head of the wife even as Christ is the head of the church, his body, and is himself its Savior.”

            1 Peter 3:1-22 ESV
“Likewise, wives, be subject to your own husbands, so that even if some do not obey the word, they may be won without a word by the conduct of their wives, when they see your respectful and pure conduct. Do not let your adorning be external—the braiding of hair and the putting on of gold jewelry, or the clothing you wear— but let your adorning be the hidden person of the heart with the imperishable beauty of a gentle and quiet spirit, which in God’s sight is very precious. For this is how the holy women who hoped in God used to adorn themselves, by submitting to their own husbands, ..
24 “Now as the church submits to Christ, so also wives should submit in everything to their husbands”.
            1 Timothy 2:12 ESV
“do not permit a woman to teach or to exercise authority over a man; rather, she is to remain quiet

            Yoga Wear Guru answers:

Christian is a very broad term. Some groups pick and choose, yes, while others believe in cultural and historical context. Likely this second group would attribute the verses about women to the society from which the verses came from. Groups that take the Bible literally yet take no stance against women’s rights would say that God could not radically change the views of the people right away (same as how you can’t convince someone something is a certain way when their culture dictates otherwise.)

Culture and historical context change everything. Whether you believe in the Bible or not, cultural anthropology would definitely prove that cultures can only understand so much about cultures that are vastly different from their own. For this reason, if a god told a group of primitive people something, they probably wouldn’t accept too much that goes against their culture unless the change were to happen gradually overtime. You can’t force a group of people to believe or not believe in something. It has been ingrained in their culture.

            Ken asks…

What is the best way to vent or handle anger after an incident of racial profiling or being stereotyped?

(This is mainly a question for minorities-not sure white people would know) I had a run in with the police last night. I was out exercising and they pulled up and said that someone had recently reported that a black man in dark clothing was spotted in a parking lot attempting to steal a car, then ran off. They said I matched his ‘description’ (black man in dark clothing…dam that’s half my city…). This is nothing new to me. I wonder if someone really made that report, or if the police just like harrasing blacks? Or did some white person just fabricate that report because they saw a black guy running through a white neighborhood? Who knows, but I’d like to find a good way to vent. Unfortunately I couldn’t just beat up the cops for messing with me, (one of them pulled out a 12-guage as a supposed ‘scare tactic’) and you can’t just beat up random white people that had nothing to do with it either…so brothers and sisters, help me out will you?

            Yoga Wear Guru answers:

Humor and sarcasm. Make yourself laugh at their expense. They are ignorant and can’t really help it. How about:

“It’s a good thing it’s not a white man in dark clothing, or else you’d have to pull out the gun on yourselves.”

“How many black men in dark clothing do you have to harass tonight to fill your quota?”

“Hey, I know the guy you’re looking for!” Then give him some random addressess and streets around the city. Make sure to tell him, “Yeah, I’ve seen that nasty black man in dark clothing in all those places just yesterday, I hope you catch him!”

By belittling them, you make yourself “Superior” to them and make them feel very, very small.

EDIT: Thought of one more for you. After they tell you they’re looking for a “Black man in dark clothes,” look at them in an authoritive way, take on a condenscending tone, and tell them, “Well, I hate to break it to you clowns, but you really messed up this time. In case you didn’t notice, I’m not BLACK!” This is technically true, because nobody’s black; we’re all actually different shades of brown.

            Donald asks…

            I have three riddles?

            1. Art Deco was a successful salesperson for a line of men‘s clothing. One day he set out on a short trip which would take him to three different destinations and then home. He reached the three destinations in order and was about to go home when he met a man with a mask. When he saw the man, Art turned around and went back to his last destination. Why?
            2. Every day Mandy Torpedoes rises up out of bed, gets in the elevator in her building and presses the button to take her to the lobby. At the end of the day she returns form work, gets in the elevator and presses the button for the ninth floor. She gets out and walks up 5 floors to her room, even though the elevator would take her to her floor. Why? (It’s not for the exercise.)
            3. Doug Grave was taking a vacation when he read about a bottomless well in a small town. He decided to visit the town, and when he arrived in the town, he stopped at the post office to ask for directions. When he got to the house where the well was, he met a local teacher who offered a challenge to Doug. The teacher claimed she could throw a five-pound weight into the well, no strings or rope attached, and be able to fetch it in ten seconds. How?

            1. He is playing baseball
            2. She is short
            3. He throws it into the well bucket which reitrives the weight.

            Sharon asks…

In your opinion, what are the negative and positive aspects of patriotism?

I was just reading “Emma Goldman on Patriotism” and thought I might ask you guys what you think. I will post it below:

            What Is Patriotism?
            by Emma Goldman
            1908
            San Francisco, California
            Men and Women:

What is patriotism? Is it love of one’s birthplace, the place of childhood’s recollections and hopes, dreams and aspirations? Is it the place where, in childlike naivete, we would watch the passing clouds, and wonder why we, too, could not float so swiftly? The place where we would count the milliard glittering stars, terror-stricken lest each one “an eye should be,” piercing the very depths of our little souls? Is it the place where we would listen to the music of the birds and long to have wings to fly, even as they, to distant lands? Or is it the place where we would sit on Mother’s knee, enraptured by tales of great deeds and conquests? In short, is it love for the spot, every inch representing dear and precious recollections of a happy, joyous and playful childhood?

If that were patriotism, few American men of today would be called upon to be patriotic, since the place of play has been turned into factory, mill, and mine, while deepening sounds of machinery have replaced the music of the birds. No longer can we hear the tales of great deeds, for the stories our mothers tell today are but those of sorrow, tears and grief.

What, then, is patriotism? “Patriotism, sir, is the last resort of scoundrels,” said Dr. [Samuel] Johnson. Leo Tolstoy, the greatest anti-patriot of our time, defines patriotism as the principle that will justify the training of wholesale murderers; a trade that requires better equipment in the exercise of man-killing than the making of such necessities as shoes, clothing, and houses; a trade that guarantees better returns and greater glory than that of the honest workingman…

Indeed, conceit, arrogance and egotism are the essentials of patriotism. Let me illustrate. Patriotism assumes that our globe is divided into little spots, each one surrounded by an iron gate. Those who have had the fortune of being born on some particular spot consider themselves nobler, better, grander, more intelligent than those living beings inhabiting any other spot. It is, therefore, the duty of everyone living on that chosen spot to fight, kill and die in the attempt to impose his superiority upon all the others. The inhabitants of the other spots reason in like manner, of course, with the result that from early infancy the mind of the child is provided with blood-curdling stories about the Germans, the French, the Italians, Russians, etc. When the child has reached manhood he is thoroughly saturated with the belief that he is chosen by the Lord himself to defend his country against the attack or invasion of any foreigner. It is for that purpose that we are clamoring for a greater army and navy, more battleships and ammunition…

An army and navy represent the people’s toys. To make them more attractive and acceptable, hundreds and thousands of dollars are being spent for the display of toys. That was the purpose of the American government in equipping a fleet and sending it along the Pacific coast, that every American citizen should be made to feel the pride and glory of the United States.

The city of San Francisco spent one hundred thousand dollars for the entertainment of the fleet; Los Angeles, sixty thousand; Seattle and Tacoma, about one hundred thousand… Yes, two hundred and sixty thousand dollars were spent on fireworks, theater parties, and revelries, at a time when men, women, and children through the breadth and length of the country were starving in the streets; when thousands of unemployed were ready to sell their labor at any price.

What could not have been accomplished with such an enormous sum? But instead of bread and shelter, the children of those cities were taken to see the fleet, that it may remain, as one newspaper said, “a lasting memory for the child.”

A wonderful thing to remember, is it not? The implements of civilized slaughter. If the mind of the child is poisoned with such memories, what hope is there for a true realization of human brotherhood?

We Americans claim to be a peace-loving people. We hate bloodshed; we are opposed to violence. Yet we go into spasms of joy over the possibility of projecting dynamite bombs from flying machines upon helpless citizens. We are ready to hang, electrocute, or lynch anyone, who, from economic necessity, will risk his own life in the attempt upon that of some industrial magnate. Yet our hearts swell with pride at the thought that America is becoming the most powerful nation on earth, and that she will eventually plant her iron foot on the necks of all other nations.

Such is the logic of patriotism.

            Yoga Wear Guru answers:

            The pros of patriotism:
-a sense of brotherhood with your fellow citizens
-the ability to foster in a patriot’s mind the desire to help their fellow citizen
            -the ability to maintain order

            The cons:
-it is detrimental to any international brotherhood
-it can lead to fanatical and even violent ideas and behaviour
-it can leave certain individuals unable to look into national improvement due to a feeling that things are fine as they are and that things should be left well enough alone.

do men find size 12 girls really fat?

i’m size 12, no exceptions except for Topshop (which i’m size 10 in for lots). are there any men that aren’t absolutely hideous, who don’t mind girls that are like size 12?
i’ve got DD boobs so lots of clothes don’t suit me and I have love handles, but apart from that i don’t have much fat on my body and my BMI is spot on where it should be. I’ve been to the doctor who says i don’t need to lose any weight and won’t give me lipo or let me see the dietician.
i already do loads of exercise but i think all men think i’m fat cause i can’t wear the same kinda clothes as my friends (i.e. skinny jeans). i just don’t want to be judged as the fat girl! and i’ve not got many problems with my face coz it isn’t ugly!
are there no men who aren’t ugly who like size 12 girls?
            i’m 5 ft 5
please just be honest and not polite!!!!!!!!
            thats UK sizes

            Yoga Wear Guru answers:

Most blokes I talk to prefer sizes 8-14 (UK) with 10/12 being the most popular (which is what you are). Funny that girls always think thinner is better, well blokes prefer some meat on the bones.

Also men are more concerned with your proportions than your size, you know a good waist/hip ratio and curves that go in and out at the right places.

If you are not getting the male attention, it’s very likely due to lack of self esteem.

Do you get dressed up when you’re at home?

I am going to college through online courses and usually wear sweatshirts and yoga pants or a juicy sweatsuit or other casual clothing most days. I just can’t see wearing my good clothes to sit around on the sofa, or in my office at home all day. I feel bad because my husband sees me “bummin” all the time, while he sees other women looking their best. He only sees me dressed up on the weekends.

Do you dress up around the house?

              Yoga Wear Guru answers:

In do not dress up around the house. Its pointless. But what you can do is wear cute around the house clothes. Like sexy/comfy tank tops and sweatpants that are fitted to your butt n thighs. And try to make sure you hair and makeup are cute. Im not saying to a crazy hair do and use curlers to get it big and bouncy or put some crazy mascara and eye liner with lipstick…im saying make sure your hair is down and pretty and use the necesary makeup to cover up black circles or bags. Put a hint of color on ur cheeks. U can be comfortable and look cute at the same time. But ur right…it is important for u to look good bc he is gona see other women “at their best” thru out the day. Im sure he loves you and is attracted to u- but try to keep it that way :-)

also…when i have somewhere to go in the morning and put on my jeans and cute top or whatever…by the time i get home i will try to keep those clothes on in case i go anywhere else. And i guess it can be good for u too. U dont have to wear heels, boots, jewelery and a belt..lol throw on slipper socks and call it a day.

I hope i could help a little :-) take care!

I need help finding the right clothes!?

I have asked questions like this numerous times, but never get the right answer. I like need some type of pants that are comfortable but not jeans. Like any type of pants I can wear to school that won’t bother me. Such as yoga pants or even corduroy. The thing is, I need extra long pants but never can find them. Is their any websites that have lounge/yoga pants that can fit me and come in long sizes.

Also I have a shoe problem. My feet are really big. I am a size 11-12 women and I don’t know where to find shoes. when I actually find a pair, they usually are really ugly anyways. What should I do…?!?

              Richard asks…

What can I do to lose weight and get in shape?

I am female, almost 20. Over the last 2 years, I have gained quite a bit of weight. I can barely fit into some of my clothes, and I have a lot that I just cannot wear anymore. For instance, I used to wear size 7 Wranglers jeans (women‘s), and I can’t even get into 9′s anymore. Not sure about 11′s. I got a pair of size 12 Carhartt work pants (women‘s) which fit well, slightly baggy.

Physically, I feel pretty healthy. I get adjusted by a chiropractor every other week, and I have rarely been sick. But I feel (and look) fat. I have a favorite pic that was taken March ’07 and I am much chunkier. I can’t even get those pants over my thighs…

Since May, I have been trying to eat less/more healthy and exercise more. My downfall is sweets. I am a chocolate addict, although admittedly, I do not eat too many sweets anymore. I will have a few chocolate chips or chocolate milk or a jr. Frosty at Wendy’s, etc. I’ve been really trying to cut back on junk in the past week. I try to eat salads with a small piece of breaded chicken…and try not to put too much dressing on it. I do eat a bit of fast food in a week, although BF and I are doing a lot more cooking at home, so it’s been only 2x a week. We eat a lot of meat (BF likes to grill) and not many vegetables. I don’t eat breakfast, but I am trying to eat an egg or whatnot. I sometimes have poptarts (healthy, I know, lol).

Right now, I am walking/biking 5-ish blocks to school and back M-Th. I also have horses and clean the paddock (scoop about 40lbs of manure and haul away) and wrestle a hay bale daily. Some days I bike a couple miles to the grocery store and back.

Despite trying to get more active and be better about eating, I feel like I’m just gaining more and more weight. What can I do? I have a little book of pilates and yoga which I want to start doing, but haven’t been motivated to try yet. I could also get a membership at Curves in the fall (Sep). Anyone have advice?

BTW, I do not have excess amounts of money to spend for gym membership or healthy granola bar things (sadly).

              Yoga Wear Guru answers:

I would substitute grilled chicken for the breaded chicken, cut out fast food all together or atleast limit to once a month, try to limit your sweets more. If you love choc, find something healthier with same satisfaction like fat free/sugar free pudding.

I did the curves thing a few years back. Was a waste of money for me. Was not challenging enough to make a difference even when I doubled my time and days a week I went. Its good for someone who has never exercised before but then it seems to not be enough. And I was locked in for payment for a whole year

              Ladies, does this bother you?

A lot of guys in my dorm like to watch this yoga tv show it because it features three women in very tight clothing doing yoga and the camera has some significant shots at their butts/legs/stomach

Just wondering what you ladies think of this. If you don’t know what I’m talking about: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nTveP0ngOSs&feature=related

              A. A newscaster in business clothing look of trustworthiness
              B. A newspaper name in an odd font An air of reliability
              C. A football player screaming . sense of relaxation

              Yoga Wear Guru answers:

C and D don’t seem to match. A football player screaming wouldn’t give a sense of relaxation.

              Is that what you mean?
