Donna asks…

is it is crime in CA for a girl to walk around topless?

because i see fat men who have breasts and normal men who have similar breast to flat woman always running around.

but im really being serious here i want to know if woman can exercise their constitutional rights in being not discriminated when it comes to wearing clothes

Yoga Wear Guru answers:

Most cities and counties have ordinances against it but as Alesha has stated it is often ignored on the beaches.

I think that any time there is a parade in San Francisco you will see not just topless but nude women with painted bodies as well as nude painted men

Jenny asks…

Its like I’m wearing Au De Man-repellent!?

I have above average looks, I take care of myself pretty well. (exercise, grooming and clothing) I have a wonderfully creative career (which I’m very proud of) a good sense of humour and self confidence….. but for some reason…. prospective dates disappear into thin air after a couple of dates, or back and forth emails, never to be seen or heard of again….. Please give me some advise… seems like I’m doing the “getting to know you” thing all wrong…. Why hasn’t anyone written a “Dating for Dummies” book yet?? Maybe I come across as intimidating? And no… I don’t have verbal diarrhea, a mustache, a big unsightly mole or smell funny. (no offense to those who do)! SOS?
btw) can be A moustache (or A mustache) :)
but tnx anyway.
Thanks for the spelling lesson. Would you do a long distance dating? (in South Africa) ;)

British special forces caught dressed as Arab ‘terrorists’

British soldiers have been caught posing as Arabs and shooting Iraqis in the occupied city of Basra in southern Iraq. A group of them was caught yesterday by Iraqi police. They were driving an Iraqi car, wearing Arab clothing, and carrying weapons and explosives.

The Iraqi police were patrolling the area looking for suspected “terrorists” or “insurgents”, and they noticed that the men were acting suspiciously. Suddenly, without warning, the suspicious men started shooting at people, but the new Iraqi security forces managed to capture some of them before they could escape. Obviously, if these men had not been caught, the mass media would now be reporting the incident as just another attempt by evil “terrorists” to create civil war in Iraq.

There have been a number of incidents in this area and throughout Iraq in which police and civilians have been targeted and killed by “terrorists” or “insurgents”. But this is the first time that any of those responsible have been caught in the act, and it is now clear that at least some of them are working directly for the occupying forces, as many Iraqis have openly suspected all along.

A few days ago, in a statement unreported in the corporate mass media, Iran’s most senior military official specifically linked the instability in Iraq with agents of the US and its allies: “we have information that the insecurity has its roots in the activities of American and Israeli spies.”

The post-war violence in Iraq is always been blamed on “Islamic extremists” or “rival ethnic factions”. Yet in the history of the country, nothing like this has ever happened before. The problems began precisely when the US and UK seized control.

The Iraqi police arrested the men and put them in prison. Unfortunately the police never had a chance to question the men and find out exactly what they were doing, because within minutes the UK sent in six tanks and an elite SAS unit to break their terrorists out of jail.

During the illegal prison break Iraqi officials were held at gunpoint, much of the jail was demolished, and all of the other criminals and insurgents were set free. The US and UK do not hesitate to use violence and terror to achieve their objectives, no matter what the consequences.

The official explanation for the illegal jail break is that somebody thought the British men might be taken away by a gang of Iraqi resistance fighters and never seen again. This is blatantly nonsense, of course, because the entire prison was entirely surrounded by British tanks and troops. With the full force of the British military at hand, the terrorists were rescued quickly and easily.

As further details emerge, the Western media increasingly presents conflicting reports about the nature and sequence of events, and the official British sources cited without question in mainstream news coverage are indicative of a classic disinformation exercise.

When local people saw what was happening the area began to erupt with angry anti-British protests.

British tanks storm Basra jail to free undercover soldiers
British troops used tanks last night to break down the walls of a prison in the southern Iraqi city of Basra and free two undercover British soldiers who were seized earlier in the day by local police.
An official from the Iraqi interior ministry said half a dozen tanks had broken down the walls of the jail and troops had then stormed it to free the two British soldiers. The governor of Basra last night condemned the “barbaric aggression” of British forces in storming the jail.
Aquil Jabbar, an Iraqi television cameraman who lives across the street from the jail, said dozens of Iraqi prisoners also fled in the confusion.

In a day of dramatic incidents in the heart of the British-controlled area of Iraq, the two undercover soldiers – almost certainly special forces – were held by Iraqi security forces after clashes that reportedly left two people dead and threatened to escalate into a diplomatic incident between London and Baghdad.
The soldiers, who were said to have been wearing Arab headdress, were accused of firing at Iraqi police when stopped at a road block.

Muhammad al-Abadi, an official in the Basra governorate, told journalists the two undercover soldiers had looked suspicious to police. “A policeman approached them and then one of these guys fired at him. Then the police managed to capture them.”

Yoga Wear Guru answers:

This report is SIX YEARS OLD….. All of the information is hearsay….. We had Iraqi security forces operating on both sides of the war….. There had been terrorist pretending to be Iraqi police…..the Iraqi police had no authority to arrest British or American troops…..

YOU and this reporter have no knowledge of modern warfare and how things operate….. The British had every right to storm the jail and rescue their troops….. They were illegally detained and in danger of being killed

When our military personnel violate the law…..WE investigate…..WE arrest and detain……WE try and if convicted WE punish….. We have American troops serving long prison terms in Fort Leavenworth RIGHT NOW…. For crimes committed in Iraq and Afghanistan

BUT until the war is over and we sign a Status of Forces Agreement…. Iraq has no jurisdiction

BTW “Mr Expert” all special operations forces…..because of the nature of their deployment and mission…..ALL special forces dress to blend in….. Dress to look like the natives…. You have no knowledge about how this war is conducted but are eager to call our troops “IMMITATION TERRORISTS” and attach nefarious intent to their legal and common place activities….. Try doing a little research before jumping to these SILLY conclusions

Betty asks…

Guys! A question about female body types?

Okay so I’m around 5’3, 145 pounds, and I am a 36D cup size. I wear usually a size 4 or a 6 in clothing, and am a small or medium for shirts. I’m definitely not fat, but I do have curves (I have curvy hips and breasts). I’m european on my moms side and I definitely inherited that body type, the shorter, curvier body type from my mom and her family. I eat healthy, and I don’t overeat and I do have a healthy lifestyle.

If I ever wanted to slim down, I’d basically have to devote my entire day to maintaining a fitness regiment which would be absolutely insane, as well as limiting my diet immensely. My body’s frame is naturally inclined towards being more full and curvy, regardless of my exercise/diet habits. My question is, is this sort of body type still attractive to most men? I’m not sloppy or anything and I am really active, but I will never have a perfectly toned body as my body naturally carries a little more weight.

Please no harsh comments, be respectful guys.

Yoga Wear Guru answers:

Im sure your body is perfect and your just sub conscious about it. Don’t worry about it but girlfriend is the exact same way and shes absolutely beautiful and im not just saying that. So i hope that was good for you

… “That is what the last days of humanity are going to look like. The last remnants will die off resting blissfully in the shade of apple trees, and starve to death while apples fall from the branches above and bounce off their heads, because they won’t know apples are food if no one pays them money to pick the apples up off the ground, and their last words forever frozen on their dying lips will be, ‘If only we’d managed the money more wisely… We could have done whatever we wanted and had whatever we wanted if only we had applied ourselves… What a shame – We had such potential’.”

Wyl exhaled and shook his head, “I don’t know about that, Fae-”

Fae raised his eyebrows somewhat surprised, “Really? Are you sure about that? I’m disappointed, Wyl, because I know you’ve observed for yourself, firsthand. They already believe they exercise no natural expectation to inhabit the earth. Someone tells them, ‘You’ve failed to satisfy your obligations so I’m afraid we’re going to have to expel you from the earth.’ and they believe it. They walk around with their feet on the dirt, living and breathing, and they believe they’re not allowed on the earth. They consider that reality… and you doubt they’ll starve while apples bounce off their heads? For true believers, no matter what experience or material principle of the earth might contradict, nothing exceeds the power of these articles of faith. They’re already twice that stupid now, Wyl. You’ll see. I won’t be around for it but in your years to come, you’ll have far more contact with these people than I ever did. You and I have always been ready to believe all the fantasy, they just didn’t get to us in time while we were still kids and now that we’re adults, we know better and it’s too late but one of these lifetimes, they’re going to find an opportunity to tell a next generation of ours that they have potential and then those kids are going to live in a suspended state somewhere other than the earth, and starve to death while apples bounce off their heads.”

Wyl smiled slightly in appreciation of Fae’s outlandish scenarios. Fae smirked in reaction but then assumed an extremely serious demeanor, “It’s okay to laugh at it now — whatever it takes to make it memorable — that’s all I care about. Just, always remember it because that is how the big last great war to determine the inheritance of the earth will look. There won’t be a lot of weapons involved and hardly anyone will wear uniforms. Everyone will look and act about the same, and the only way you’ll ever figure out which ones to kill… is by paying real close attention to which ones tell you, you have potential and you need to apply yourself…”

****************************************************************

Saccia pulled Wyl into the vestibule of a clothing shop just short of the offices and directed him, “Tell me your story one more time.”

He spoke quickly and in a monotone, “I’m a farmer from Harin Creek north of-”

“No.” she interrupted, “Look me in the eye and convince me.”

He nodded and started from the beginning, “I’m a farmer from Harin Creek. It’s a small burgh north of Foulds. I lost most of my crops to a fire that burned down my barn, my grain shed and my house. Some men who cart grain in and out of Foulds told me I could maybe find seasonal work here in Enet. I’m here to work for food and shelter – I’ll take any work available…” Saccia tilted her head with a skeptical expression and he suddenly doubted his performance. Intent to perform to her satisfaction, he extended the exercise with and improvised plea, “I’m not proud or particular. Give me a chance to contribute and I promise you I won’t let you down-”

Saccia shook her head with a wince and inquired, “What is that?”

“What?” he asked.

“Contribute?” she replied, “We never discussed that.”

“I was just improvising, I guess.” he explained.

“Well, don’t do that.” she instructed, “Just stick to what I told you.” She examined him and his expression did not particularly encourage her. She squinted and inquired, “Have you never done this before?”

He shook his head and stated defensively, “I really am a farmer. I think I’ve told you that more than once… No, I’ve never done this before…”

Saccia clutched his collar in her fist, pulled him close and stated clearly and firmly, “If he tests you at all, that is precisely the kind of test he will conduct and the only correct response to any test will be to stubbornly stick to the prepared material. Any deviation will expose you as a liar, understand?” Wyl nodded and she continued, “All right. Listen to me. Don’t interrupt me and don’t ask me to explain. Just do precisely what I tell you, say the words I tell you to say and don’t try to make any sense of it… You do not care about making any kind of ‘contribution’ to anything, you understand? You care about

How much weight will i loose if ….?

i do Bikram Hot Yoga for 20 classes, 3 times a week, Tuesday – Friday in a moth. im female, 16, 177 pounds with a fairly healthy diet.

    Yoga Wear Guru answers:

Up it to four classes a week for a total of 16/month and within three months you will notice a HUGE difference. You may not see it on the scale immediately, since you’ll also be building muscle, but you will notice your pants are looser and your body is changing shape.
Be sure yo take in extra electrolytes immediately before/during/after class, either through coconut water or powders in your water, or you may get some pretty bad muscle cramping.
And drink LOTS of water before and after class all day as well, and cut out sodas, fried crap and sweets as much as you can.

Good luck! I guarantee it’ll work!

If I do yoga will I have veins sticking out? I really hope not. And I’m talking about the yoga where you do yoga in a hot room and get sweaty and all.

    Yoga Wear Guru answers:

Bikram yoga or hot yoga does not cause your veins to stand out. Your blood vessels may expand and protrude while you are in the heat, but not permanently.

Newly diagnosed diabetic taking metformin – how much water is enough?

The instructions say to drink “plenty of water” and warn of liver damage if you are dehydrated. But how much is enough? Will it hurt me to take a hot yoga class or use the steam baths? I can’t count on just drinking when I’m thirsty, because I’m thirsty all the time. And I have to pee all the time as a result, so I don’t want to just go on a water jar. Obviously I’ll call the pharmacist tomorrow, but wondered if anyone else has been through this.
To clarify – I don’t mean with the pill. The information indicates that I need to hydrate all day long.

Sunglasses and my hair is short.

I need to find a style though that suits this…like a place to shop…I buy all my jeans at bootlegger (Brody Jeans) and I really like them. Summer is coming and my closet is horrible. I need some summer wear but what brands are popular these days? Im starting college in september, im 19 and a male. I live in Canada Ontario (for stores).

Reinventing myself at age 20, ANYONE can help!?

So, I have decided it is time to reinvent myself. I have always been very shy but I have found that when I do have a lot of friends I tend to be far better off and when I don’t I become extremely lonely. So my issue is I like to socialize but am too shy to do this. What I need is a confidence booster which is why I have come up with a plan. Right now I am just there, I don’t have a clique, friend group or anything. I do not dress my age and always wear clothes far too baggy. So keeping in mind that I am 20, in college, tall & blonde….

      - What kind of stores should I shop at for clothes, what are some good brands?

      - How do I go about creating a friend group without seeming like a creeper, because I have no friends that can introduce me to anyone at this point?

      - I havent had a girlfriend yet so any advice on this as well?

      - Any good workout routines I can use?

      - Any good conversation starters or topics to talk about?

      - How should I act before I find ‘myself’ again?

Currently, my only interests are watching reality TV shows, and spending time playing video games. Both of which are probably not too interesting to girls.

Thanks for ANY help you can give!
Yeah, all I wanted were opinions. Go troll elsewhere.

      Yoga Wear Guru answers:

American Eagle sell good, inexpensive jeans. And as a guy, I can tell you, their jeans our asses look nice. And thats all women want in jeans. This winter grey tones are in, so I would look to buy some grey tshirts, maybe a charcoal jacket and a black coat. DO NOT GO FOR SKI COAT. Cliche wont work. Be yourself and experiment with different hairstyles, you will eventually find one that suits you.

Shoes are definitely something women look at. Get yourself a nice pair of black loafers and maybe an oxblood coloured dressier shoe. Nikeys and reeboks are tacky and unless youre running, should not be worn if youre dressing to impress.

Girls are not interested in you nearly as much as they are interested in themselves and, if you refrain from telling them your life story, you will become a sort of mystery which alot of women will like to try figure out.

Dont barrage them with questions as you will sound too cliche and boring. Listen to what they are telling you and react accordingly. Girls like flirting and the best way I have found to do this is make fun of them a little bit. But dont be mean, make sure they know you are joking. For example, comment on a strange accessory or item of clothing she is wearing by saying it is, unusual…then follow it up with a if youre into that kinda thing. Must have a smile on your face to let them know its friendly.

When approaching women, know what youre going to say, practice the same routine (same anecdotes, same jokes) and you will get comfortable with it. Think of some funny anecdotes for yourself, again, dont tell them too much about you, but make sure its funny.

If you live in a college town it should be easy to walk up to a group of GUYS in a bar and ask if you can sit down. Introduce yourself and find some common ground with them. They will lead you to the girls, dont worry about that.

Dont try too hard. Be yourself.

Wat kind of leggings are these are how do the stay rolled up and not feel all bunched up under your skirt. Thanks.

        Yoga Wear Guru answers:

Well.. They’re probably just normal leggings. There’s no special kind of leggings that do this…

You can roll up any leggings, but they’ll always be “bunched up.” Try getting the thinnest material you can find, and they might not get as bunched up.

        How to wear leggings?

My daughter is going into 7th grade and I got her some leggings. I want to be sure what I am getting her is the “in” look. She has black, white and gray leggings and has a camo skort and a jean skirt. What types of tops go with this, do they need to be long, and how else can she wear them?

        Yoga Wear Guru answers:

As for tops, they go with whatever she would normally wear with those skirts. And although most people wear leggings with jean mini skirts, that’s actually the most out-done and “blekh” look. Have her try it with a cute dress or a more flowy skirt.

          Yoga Wear Guru answers:

If you eat only vegetables and stay under 300 calories a day, you’ll end up sick, not toned. You don’t look like you need to lose weight, so just stick to a healthy diet and do the exercising you mentioned and you’ll be fine.

I see too many girls going to the extreme and ending up sick and running into all kinds of troubles. These troubles can sometimes follow you into your adult life as well.

If you aren’t eating enough calories, your body will start to take calories from other parts of your body, which will be like the opposite of getting toned.

Furthermore, this is not a life or death situation. You should feel lucky to have food to eat. There are girls your age who are actually in life or death situations who would kill to be in your shoes.

If you’re just fishing for compliments, that is very immature. Hopefully this next year will be spent growing up and finding better things to do.

Of course I watch what I eat and the Lean Cuisine meals are great for that since the calories per box are 180 to 380 per box. Just make sure you eat healthy every three to four hours so your body will perform at its max.

          Here it is:

          Helpful Tips for weight loss:

1)A good way to loose weight is to use a calorie counter watch

Keep to a 1,200 food intake

Add 1,200 plus 3,500 (equals one pound of fat) …and that is the total amount of calories you need to burn each day. Its actually really easy once you start watching the numbers and it doesn’t seem like work or exercise. Its just a matter of changing the way you think about loosing weight.

I use this method when i gain some pounds. The first time I did this I went from 168 to 127

          2) Most people do not get enough water in their system. Water is your body’s principal chemical component, comprising, on average, 60 percent of your weight. Every system in your body depends on water. For example, water flushes toxins out of vital organs, carries nutrients to your cells and provides a moist environment for ear, nose and throat tissues.

Lack of water can lead to dehydration, a condition that occurs when you don’t have enough water in your body to carry out normal functions. To determine if you are getting enough water use this simple formula.. Take your weight, for example 150 pounds and divide by 2. Take your answer which is 75 lbs and change it to ounces, in this case 75 ounces. That is how many ounces of water you need a day. Your body performs mostly on water. If you make sure you get enough water everyday your body will perform at top notch and your body will no longer have the cravings of junk food. You will have a better performing body system to help you work out and feel better thru out your day.

          How to get into exercising?

I need to start exercising. I’m thin but my doctor says that I need to get in the habit before I become an adult.
I haven’t played sports in years and I doubt I’d make my school’s teams because they’re all really competitive. I always feel awkward working out in gyms or running on tracks. Plus I get worn out really fast.
I thought about yoga or pilates but I hear that pilates is reallllly hard.
I don’t mind weight lifting. Is that considered exercise??
I don’t know where to start!! lol!
          Any tips?

          Yoga Wear Guru answers:

          No, that’s fine! :)
I’m doing the same thing but instead of pilates and ballet, I take swimming. Then volleyball training, I love dance, so I do that too. But my routine is different of course. Just keep doing what you’re doing, it’s very helpful to be active at this age, because as you grow older, you’ll gain weight faster. I’m fourteen too. :)

            Your Questions About Workout Gear

            Maria asks…

Does it seem like most mma fighters spend too much time body building than martial arts training?

Whenever I see an MMA fighter who is all buffed out like he should be on the cover of some muscle magazine I begin to question how seriously this guy trains to fight. Maybe this is why the most elite p4p best fighters in the world do not have the most sclupted physique (Fedor, Silva, Machida, Penn, Etc) because they spend more time training in what is actually important in MMA, fighting, rather than doing sepcific workouts geared to sculpt a beautiful set of pectoral muscles, abs, etc. Do fighters really care about this? I don’t think elite fighters do or even give a dam about this beacuse their job is to fight, not body build. It just seems like a lot of fighters in MMA are confused and think they can do both and still reach the elite levels of fighters. What do you people think?
I don’t know what you’re talking about. I’m not talking about cardio at all.
Even if you include GSP in my list, 80% (4/5) are not ripped. Plus GSP has been questioned for use of steroids. By the way, 4% body fat is very dangerous I don’t think any top fighter has 4% body fat. They would be crazy to do that.
What I’m saying is that they are leaner than the guys who think that bulk muscle is so important. For your information it is a big mistake to cut your body fat down below 6%. 2% is for body builders in competition not mma or any other real sport imo. Especially when you are training you need a certain amount of fat for proper functioning of the brain, nerves and other tissue. What do you think your body does when it runs out of glucose and you have no fat for backup? It starts breaking down muscle. I’ve heard this can be pretty painful. After all, your heart is a muscle and if you allow your body to break down that much you could die if you allow your body fat to fall too low.

            good workouts for paintball offseason?

i need to workout in offseason so i want some tips or drills besides snapshooting and i work out with all my gear on so i get used to it also what are some good cleats for paintball?

            Yoga Wear Guru answers:

Work on cardio & building up leg muscles for the stances players have to be in (power stance, squatting, etc).

Practice running with your gun up & as steady as possible, the point being you’ll want to be able to hit multiple targets quickly while moving fast.

Practice sliding/diving on your side/stomach, palms up (so you don’t damage your gun setup) and/or baseball slides.

Most players wear soccer cleats, although if you need the ankle support, look into football cleats. I wear Nike Land Sharks for turf – cheap football cleats but they work and i don’t mind wearing them the heck out because they’re like $20 a pair online.

Can someone give me advice on the Ventura Sport Jamis?

I am considering buying my first road bike and i was thinking about the Jamis Ventura sport road bike. My question is about the gears. It says it is a 16 speed bike..I am looking for a bike that will really make me workout and have high resistance with the gears…Does this model and 16 speed do that?? Im going to be doing daily about 20 miles around the city.
terrian will be flat pavement i should add its around the city

            Yoga Wear Guru answers:

That bike will give you plenty of exercise. Most of the resistance will come from climbing hills and fighting wind resistance at high speeds.

              Your Questions About Lululemon

              Chris asks…

what do you think of lululemon?

its HUGE where i live. have you heard of it/like it?

              Yoga Wear Guru answers:

I’m assuming you must live in vancouver! I love lululemon on days i want to be comfy. They aren’t that great if you want to look put together though.

              Richard asks…

What brand would you say is better? Lululemon or TNA

I’m kinda on a bugdet so i heard TNA is cheaper and the qualities better but i also like lululemon! Help!!

              Yoga Wear Guru answers:

Actually, a few of the original producers and designers of lululemon designed the TNA athletic wear. The prices are very similar but I have found, however, that the newer lululemon merchandise has become shoddier and shoddier as the brand becomes more popular. I bought my first pair of pants four years ago and they are thick, tough, and still look relatively new. And then a month or so ago I bought a new pair of basically the same pants, and in comparing them, found the new ones were thinner and overall just appeared more cheaply made. I assume TNA will be similar in quality, but I haven’t investigated. So I would suggest TNA.

              Mark asks…

              Whats your opinion on LuLuLemon?

What are the best fabrics to reduce the amount of sweat on you?

If I were to buy a specific type of sweater to exercise in, what kind should I buy? Is it good quality? Is Luon (the fabric from Lululemon) good? What are your experiences?

              Yoga Wear Guru answers:

              Hi there!

Luon is our signature fabric. It’s a strong, synthetic fibre designed for physical activity ranging from yoga to running to dance to anything you can think of. The material is treated so that it wicks sweat away from the body, keeping you drier as you exercise.

We also have several products made of Luxtreme, which is a very soft, luxurious athletic material that not only wicks sweat away from the body inherently (it does this naturally; we don’t have to treat the fabric) but holds your muscles in place as you move. There are also several other fabrics we use in our products that wick sweat away from the body and allow for ventilation, like Swift and Circle Mesh.

A lululemon educator at either a lululemon store or our Guest Education Centre can walk you through the different fabrics and their properties.

For your local store, check out our store finder: http://www.lululemon.com/stores/
Guest Education Centre: 1.877.263.9300 option #2

              Cheers!
