Yoga Wear Guru answers:

An easy way to find coupons and codes for different retailers is to search for coupon codes on sites like Google or Yahoo. You will get lots of results by searching the company name + coupon code.

For example, typing American Eagle Coupon yields these results: http://www.retailmenot.com/view/ae.com

Add.: That was just one site that came up on the search, when searching in this way, you will find both codes and printable coupons.

      David asks…

What’s the best way to learn how to draft clothing patterns?

I’m interested in being able to make my own- mostly for costuming. I learn best when I teach myself, so are there any tips or general instructions I should know about?

What kinds of materials do I need for pattern drafting?

      Yoga Wear Guru answers:

      Trial and error

i am all self taught because those store bought patterns confuse the living heck out of me.
I usually just sketch out a design of whatever i want to make. Then break it down into the pieces i will need.

Take my measurements. And determine the sizes needed. I usually add 2 or 3 inches to give myself a little room for error. As well as the extra 1/2 inch for the seam.

I just went for it! The first few things i made were pretty terrible.
But after messing up a few times i finally got familiarized with certain things and what i needed to do to correct them.
After the 4th/5th piece of clothing they were starting to look Really impressive!

But now. I dont bother with patterns i just eye it.

      Good luck

      Jenny asks…

What Kind of Barbie Clothes Are Most Likely To Cause Clothing Stains On Barbies?

Weird question I know, but I’ll explain more: I have bought a few fashion avenue clothing items that have stained my dolls after a few days from the coloring in the clothes…I was wondering if there is a way to tell which TYPE of barbie clothes will stain barbie bodies? The outfit I had was a deep purplish color and an Internationale type of fashion avenue.

Does anyone have any experience with this issue to give tips? I will rate!

        Yoga Wear Guru answers:

Id contact Mattel and tell them whats happened.Never heard of this before. For now id stick with light coloured clothes. Also with the darker coloured dolls clothes maybe put them on a cool wash to remove some of the dye.As for the stains on your dolls you want to try a ink stain devil.Hope this has helped a bit and merry christmas.

So what clothing size would fit an average three year old? Thank you!

It depends on size (height and weight) of the child…… It usually is a 3T but if it is a little bit bigger it might wear a 4T and really small would maybe wear a 2T but most are right on so i would go with 3T.

For clothing donations, do I need to have every single receipt for every clothing?

What’s the procedure for proving the value of clothing?
So that means that I don’t need a receipt (when I actually purchased it) for every dress shirt that I’m donating?

        Yoga Wear Guru answers:

        It’s an estimate.

You can see some estimates from the salvation Army at this website:

But, what you use is the value that the Charity is likely to get for the clothes.

          Donated, bought etc?

          Yoga Wear Guru answers:

When my mom was starting her clothing business she went to JC Penney and they donated racks to her along with other clothing stores that had them. Most stores have these in storage and don’t usually need them anymore. I would go to different department stores in your area and ask them. My mom was pleasantly surprised to see so many willing participants.

            Your Questions About Clothing Labels

            Michael asks…

Easy way to attach many clothing labels to ties?

I have a bunch of ties that I need to label with custom clothing tags that I have printed. Is there an easy way to do this? Sewing them on one by one takes allot of time, and it is not good to use a sewing machine, as this will pull the thread through the whole tie. Any ideas?

            Yoga Wear Guru answers:

Stich witchery – it’s a tape that you use to fuse cloth together instead of sewing – it bonds when you use heat from an iron.

            Maria asks…

How can I tell the difference in Mark Jacobs clothing labels?

I recently bought a Marc Jacobs jacket from a discount store for $5. I can’t figure out if it’s the high end or less expensive clothing line. The label says, “Marc Jacobs”, but the name ‘Jacobs’ is all black or a dark grey color. I thought at first someone used a marker to black out the name but the threading on the back of the label is black as well. Any ideas as to which line of clothing this belongs to? Thanks! :)

            Yoga Wear Guru answers:

If it just says ‘Marc Jacobs’ it’s his higher end clothing line. If it says ‘Marc by Marc Jacobs’ it’s his less expensive one. Both labels have the ‘Jacobs’ part blackened out, only the Marc by Marc Jacobs has the ‘by Marc Jacobs’ part blackened too.
            Hope that helped :D

            Ruth asks…

How do I protect clothing labels while dyeing a garment?

I have some clothes I want to dye black but I don’t want to dye the label. For example I have a pair of pants that are faded but used to be black. There are tags around the pockets and more than one label on the inside. They are all red. How do I protect those while dyeing my pants black?

I’m using liquid black Rit dye on the clothes and I’m using the tub method. If you are familiar with dyeing on a regular basis, any tips would be appreciated.

            Yoga Wear Guru answers:

Labels don’t dye. They’re poly, and poly will not accept RIT

What stores sell MMA clothing labels?

I want to buy clothes from these labels: Warrior Int., TapouT and a few others. The issue is that I can’t find any stores that sell them and I do not want to purchase online. So, what stores sell these clothes. In case it may help, my location is NYC.
I have been there, and they do have everything. It’s just that I like to try clothes on before I buy them, being that some companies clothes fit smaller or larger.

            Yoga Wear Guru answers:

If you can’t find any you can go to ufc.com, tapout.com, or mmawarehouse.com

            Mandy asks…

where can i purchase iron on clothing labels besides from the internet?

i am going to sleep away camp and i need to put labels on my clothing sso they do not get lost

            Yoga Wear Guru answers:

Walmart has them in the arts and crafts department, or they have them in the fabric department.

Just remember when your printing your logos out. Print it on a normal paper first to make sure that its the size you want, and remember, to use your paint program to flip the image backwards, or it will iron on backwards. The paper is to expensive to make mistakes with.

            Good luck!

              Does vigrx plus work?

Reviews seem legit and it only contains natural ingredients. However, it is a bit pricey. The most economical way would be to purchase a 1-year subscription but can anyone confirm if their Money Back Guarantee truly works?

              Yoga Wear Guru answers:

The FDA has found that a lot of the “all natural” enhancement product actually contain derivatives and metabolites of drugs like Viagra and Levitra, which can cause life threatening side effects, especially in combination with some blood pressure medications (like nitrates).

What is the best penis enlargement supplement/pill?

So which is better or something else?
              1) Sinrex
              2) Male Extra
              3) Capatrex
              4) VigRX
              5) VigRX Plus

              Yoga Wear Guru answers:

Well – after you blow all your money on all those scams you’ve got listed – maybe you will figure out YOUR genetics determine YOUR penis growth – nothing else.
You cannot MAKE your penis grow – with or without any of that stuff.

Don’t you think if ANY of them worked – wouldn’t every guy in the world be dragging around a 12 inch pecker?
